The bed is easily assembled with only 5 components.Foot section weighs 50 % less than conventional foot sections to make deliveries safe and easy. Unique single motor and junction box assembly is completely self-contained to reduce noise. New and improved motor raises/lowers head and foot section twice as fast as our original bed motor. The motor assembly can be easily installed and removed with patient in bed in seconds without tools. In the event of a power failure, two 9 volt batteries, located in the motor, can lower the head and foot sections nine times. New and improved hand pendant has large, easy to use controls. Bed ships in two cartons. Channel frame construction provides superior strength and reduced weight. Bed frame, Head and foot boards interchangeable with Graham-Field Whisper Lite Bed. Zinc coated spring deck. Heavy duty vinyl clad bed ends are attractive in any d?cor and easy to maintain. Bed weighs less than 150 lbs. Warranty: (Original purchaser) Lifetime on welds, 5 years on frame, 1 year on all other parts and components.

Drive Medical semi electric and full electric beds have been one the most stable and best hospital bed solutions in the industry. This Ultra Light Model features Half Length Side Rails and an 80" Innerspring Mattress in the package. The foot section of the bed weighs 50% less than conventional foot sections to make deliveries safe and easy while the motor assembly can be easily installed and removed with patient in bed in seconds without tools. This convienence is partially due to a unique single motor and junction box assembly that is completely self-contained to reduce noise. To make the bed more user friendly, the semi electric bed can be easily assembled with only 5 components.After assembly, the bed’s channel frame construction ensures superior strength and stability, but not at the cost of excess weight. Combined with the zinc coated spring deck, the Ultra Light bed is built to stand the test of time. This is why Drive Medical provides a lifetime warranty on welds, a 5 year warranty on the frame, and a 1 year warranty on all other parts and components.Drive Medical also knows that day to day operations have their own risks. For this reason, two 9 volt batteries, located in the motor, can lower the head and foot sections nine times in the event of a power failure. By doing so, a patient will still be able to reasonably change positions even without power.The Drive Medical Ultra Light Bed weighs less than 150 lbs, yet can hold up to 450 lbs.
